I wrote to Colossal last week to ask for complete financials from last
quarter and asked a number of questions. If Dil Gujral is
going to issue press releases based on actual accomplishments and sales I would expect the stock price to move up. I figured I had nothing much to lose ("in for a penny, in for a pound") and bought some shares last month at roughly current levels. If price moves up
at least I'm averaged down and becomes profitable overall at relatively low price. If co. goes South, I haven't lost much more than I had already (and my overall U.S.-listed portfolio is up about 50 pct from mid-96) but I saw no point of compounding the mistake
of not bailing out immediately after the Vantage trading halt by
panicking now, though I wouldn't buy any more without solid evidence this co. has a future and is managed professionally.
