The trouble with communism (i.e. why it's doubtful it will be rightly consigned to the dustbin) is that it aspires to the thoughts of the common man. Socialism is a tricky subject. The fact is it requires an inspired and illuminated capitalist society to succeed as a nation. You need to spend money on infrastructure. My hero Brunel was regarded only as a just passable business proposition at the end of his work. spartacus.schoolnet.co.uk Fact is, looking after the common man (ok just to be PC, woman too) is an absolute must in creating a successful nation. imho the USA PNAC crowd look like clueless dolts. UK Margerate Thatcher too. We don't build bridges, roads, widgets, or anything in the UK anymore. Tony Blair is a dolt following Thatcherism. Democracy is about the majorities view after all. Japan maybe in a resession, I think they have it about right though regarding politics and business though. I know where I bought my car from.
