David, I am enthusiastic about the correction in energy and gold that will be. Just hope my nerve holds when the buying time becomes opportune.

It is good that energy is correcting.

I figure same old routine, when opportune, selling puts on stuff I want (the usual suspects), and mark time.

Must first get the hang of the interest rate rising environment, enhanced by defaults and bankruptcies, and now, perhaps Wilma the nasty.

I am pondering about terminating USD-denominated life insurance policies and use the cash value to either speculate or buy gold coins; seems a better way then waiting for same policies to be worth as much as toilet paper.

I cannot convince myself that the USD will suddenly collapse, as opposed to a gradual meandering.

I off-loaded Energy Split II and Trinidad Energy Services since our last conversation about trusts and such. I am still holding mucho COS and VET, and a smattering of Connarcher, Blackrock, Opti-Canada, and UTS. Comments?

Chugs, J
