"That sounds fine on paper, but who's to say the judges aren't political?" What do you want, Sandy? Martians to come down and rule us? Robots to make the decisions for us? The rules these judges must follow are quite simple and above-board and, I believe, quite reasonable, not to mention VERY TRANSPARENT. It would be damn near impossible to slip one past the public by breaking rules as simple and obvious as that. But... if you've got ideas for even BETTER rules to prevent gerrymandering by any party, the country would love to hear about 'em!
