New Visual Corporation Announces Name Change and New Ticker Symbol Are Effective Monday September 19, 6:00 am ET Broadband Chip Developer Becomes Rim Semiconductor Company
PORTLAND, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 19, 2005--New Visual Corporation (OTCBB:RSMI - News), an emerging provider of semiconductors to the broadband telecommunications industry, today announces that it has become Rim Semiconductor Company. As a result of the name change, effective with the opening of the market on Monday, September 19, the Company's common stock now trades on the OTC Bulletin Board under the symbol RSMI. Rim Semiconductor's flagship technology, the Embarq(TM) family of transport processors, will enable ordinary telephone lines to operate at speeds that are ten to two hundred times faster than most telephone lines operate today. This 100 Mbps performance will empower telephone companies to offer high-definition video on demand to its customers, in addition to the high-speed internet and voice services that they offer today. Rim Semiconductor projects that it will bring Embarq(TM) to market in December 2005.
