watching the test pattern I remember that indian. We'd watch him for half an hour maybe in Montreal waiting programming to start ... We only had CBC in english in Montreal when I was young... and I'm old enough to remember the arrival of the second english station, CTV's channel 12.... and I'm 10 years your junior it seems... Originally we only had The Friendly Giant ... oh Gerome it is a sad world without you.. and Chez Helene... channel 12 brought us Magic Tom... just a nice guy that always made you feel good, Johnny Jellybean with Toome and the squawk box.., Romper Room and the magic mirror ... did all my friends have fun today LOL and eventually Cliff Hanger theater where we saw all the cheesey old serials.. some folks had cable (Redifusion ??) or antennas... we had rabbit ears :O)
