Since the biggest part of the US budget is Government entitlements, are you prepared to take a cut in your retirement and benefits?

Of course not. I'd no more give up what I earned than you'd give up your business or portfolio or home or whatever you earned.

Earned benefits are different from unearned benefits aka redistribution of the wealth. I'm getting tired of explaining that.

Not that people who are used to getting something for nothing would be willing to foresake what they now consider their due any more than those of us who earned it would. We were talking about handing over privilege just the other day. That time is was Christians unwilling to foresake the privilege to which they've become accustomed.

I'm sure the column posted upstream was right. Small government is dead.
