There are 3.2 million full time minimum wage workers in the US. But there are approximately 20 million workers who would get a raise if the minimum wage went up, due to equitable wage indices used by unions and employers. Inflationary effects notwithstanding, projected job losses estimated by business groups exceed 10%.
