perhaps you understand the true motives of a few who still post on this thread and why there are long term "zelots" who still post once in awhile and just don't care about their bullshit.

Tero posted at a time when I was deep in the middle of all this and I can state that 99% of his posts were patently WRONG. He made his money being supported by a place in time that was desparate and paid handsomely to be that way.

The total affront from the Ericy/GSM crowd during the 94-99 time period was unbelieveable and the numerous instances of real underhanded BS was amazing. Try fundnig a Standford professor chair and then have him cite Physics as a case study. trouble is he didn't know that a physicist was the one doing the implementation..... Or sending your management team to an IEEE presentation on chip design so that they can shout during the presentation about how it would never work, when the presentation was on RESULTS OF A WORKING CHIP that was going into production. Or supporting an article in the Wall Street Journal that tried to imply that IMJ was a liar. that one I hope the journalist has been banned from ever reporting.

And No Eric, you won't find that on a PR sheet anywhere so you can probably try to refute it. It happened, it existed. This is why people like myself and Maurice take the postions we do.

Now that we are in a time when NOK is trying to negotiate a lic wiht Q and Broadcomm is using the court to negotiate their lic, it is probably happeneing again.

But hey, I was one of a team who just made you all 30x your 1995 investment, so WTFDIK.
