The thing is, I painted a possible reality for you, and here you not only fail to consider it honestly, you twist it into something I didn't describe at all and proceed to make fun of that. Well, that's useless to either of us.

After doing the above, you claim I dodged everything in your post at the expense of "clarifying nothing about the motivations of Bush."

How ludicrous of you, all in all! I clarified, Re: "even they would prefer no war, as would I. ...they surely saw an impending need. This, simply put, isn't sinister."

Oh, but that's for you to ignore!

And if that weren't enough, you actually pretend the following is a "worthless...meaningless " comparison to Clinton, when in fact it is a description of a genuine concern honestly held by both the Clinton and Bush Administrations, which serves to explain all comments from the Bush Administration concerning Iraq prior to 9/11 in the light of a simple truth extending beyond the Bush Administration. I don't see you answering to it, RE: "The left should remember, given that the Bush administration had been warned by the Clinton Administration of the dangers of Al Qaeda, and viewing Iraq with a similar concern at the least - as I think justifiably did the Clinton Administration - discoveries reported from the leftist press along these lines are seen to indicate little but understandable honest concerns having been expressed."

Your "worthless...meaningless" comments don't cut the mustard here, IMHO, as I responded head-on.

The rest of your post? Your Rolling Stones lyric reference is truly "worthless and moreover meaningless" in context.

You wrote this: "Saddam was left alone to put down the home grown revolution."

Gee, should we praise America for not siding with Saddam, for not helping to put down the Shia's? Perhaps Shias are grateful we didn't, ya think? Or are they just mad that we dind't help THEM get past Saddam at the time? If the latter, perhaps they are happy now indeed. What do you think?

I made an earilier point along these lines...are you trying to alter it? One can't tell.

Would you like to repeat that you believe Reagan/Kissinger "created" the "evil dictator Saddam", and that you side with any revolution to remove Saddam? How about siding with this one we are currently engaged in? It unseated Saddam, as you vowed you support.

I can't stand to tell you again that you have no evidence that anyone lied about Al Qaeda or WMD's. You fail to comprehend simple realities concerning these charges, and have amply demonstrated your worse than kindergarten level of understanding of the meaning of "lie", etc, to the thread.

If you COULD show me "lying, plain and simple," I'd listen.
