yeah, but the nasdaq is the growth index, even for pharma, and look at what its done for the past 2 years. I'm not going to bother posting the 5 year chart for obvious reasons.

I said on another thread that I think one good step in repairing the image of growth stocks and our growth economy on the street will be when pundits like Larry Kudlow are actually able to *admit* that this is the worst market for growth in the last 35 years (since the 70s). Right now, if you turn on Kudlow, he talks like we are in the middle of a roaring bull, as if this market is the same as the 80s/90s.

Even in the 70s some stocks rallied- gold, oil, commodities. But unless you have *growth* stocks rallying, to me your economy is not in good shape. Its like saying business at your bank is good because the foreclosure/bankruptcy division is doing well.
