One of the problems is that policies are difficult to reverse even when they've been proven failures. One policy in particular that I want to see changed is street drug prohibition. Now wait a second, before you all jump to conclusions....... I'll state that when Reagan came out with the "war on drugs" policy it sounded good to me as I'm sure it appealed to the reactionary in most of us but if you take the Drug Czar supplied blinders off you might just see that prohibition doesn't make sense and our "war on drugs" has caused infinitely more problems and has resolved NOTHING. Since no politicians are willing to speak out against this failed policy, guess look who's talking now......law enforcement officials. That's right, judges, police officers etc. Check this out, it's a total eye opener:
