'Largely silent' is not totally silent.

Although the Bible does not *specifically* mention 'abortion', it DOES give the example where someone cause physical harm to a pregnant woman, causing her to miscarry (and that's a pretty close example to my mind).

It SPECIFICALLY says that this may be penalized, but it IS NOT 'murder', like it would be if the woman had died.
