But alcohol is addictive and pot isn't, also NO HANGOVER! I never heard of anyone dying from too much pot, but it happens frequently in the case of alcohol, especially at fraternities. As for physical risks, marijuana is much easier on the liver and kidneys than alcohol, though admittedly rougher on the lungs. I would argue that second hand effects from alcohol are worse than second hand effects from pot too. Domestic and other violence and drunk driving come to mind. I guess we will have to agree to disagree, but my personal opinion is that if alcohol is legal, then marijuana should be. Or make them both illegal, at least that is less hypocritical. The laws are not based on logic, but on raising tax revenue, IMO.
