OT. "I enjoy sausage, but I don't want to see it made. After seeing the oil sands, you'll never use energy again. That is going to be one ugly sightseeing tour. Go to Banff and Jasper afterward to cleanse your palette. Don't agree at all! We had a really interesting week in that area a couple of years ago (in the Fall), and got a great deal out of two days "on site" in Fort McMurray. Make a point of having a detailed look at the environmental reclaim work Syncrude is doing, and it's pretty encouraging. I also recommend at least a picnic at Lesser Slave Lake provincial park on the way back. I do agree about Banff and Jasper, and the icefields, though. The Frank Slide site was sobering. Lovely country. Lots to see and do. Tony.
