John, in 1998 I bought a 4 bedroom home @2000sf located on a cul-de-sac in a nice section of Chula Vista just south of San Diego. Paid 187k which I thought was a little high at the time. 3 years later I sold it for 360k. I've seen one bedroom condos in SD 650sf being sold for 250k and these aren't downtown they're 20 miles away!!! It's totally insane.
