Besides Prudhoe and the North Sea, I think there was a lot more deep water GOM around that time.

All these are expensive places to drill. The higher oil price justified that.

Also throw in more heavy oil processing in california - Shell bought Belridge oil around that time.

Are you and Elroy saying the same thing but using different words ?
