TJ, are you a lawyer? Those are indeed questions. But they look like rhetorical questions to my uneducated eye. It looks very much like the standard line I have seen and heard so many many times from so many people in so many matters.

If you aren't in the in-group, you are nobody and have no opinions or ideas of any consequence.

If you aren't in China, then you have no business in Taiwan. If you are in China and have a different opinion, you aren't Chinese and they have a prison cell for you. etc....
