Joe, I'm no fan of Java, if it means longer time to browse the websites. Some of the websites I visited has Java and the wait time to see the initial screen was too much...I clicked the back button. A realtime online application replacement for corporation is questionable if this performance problem is not eventually fixed. MSFT giving it the boot to buy time...is a smart move. SUNW and NOVL better watch out. They should kick their programmers to jump start and quickly establish acceptance/standards...before MSFT catches on. Mike
