AJ, >>Quite honestly an Irish Catholic should not be allowed to hold public office. His first allegiance is to the Pope, the second booze, the third his belly and the fourth whatever urges propel him.<<
Don't blame just the Irish Catholics. There is a large portion of the Catholic denomination that are from many nations, with many homelands, that are just as bad about being controlled by the the politicians that run the Vatican. More, and more, though, those that have been raised Catholics are rebelling from the iron fist of the hierarchy of the rulers of the Catholic denomination. And I stress "denomination" because they are not "the" church of Christianity. They are nothing but a branch of Christianity, and are out of step with the rest of the Christian world. They are as antiquated as the royalty in England, and just about as corrupt.
I liked the books by Ayn Rand, but disagree with her analysis of Norma Jean. Yes, she was a beautiful girl, but had no brains, could not act, and had no morals. She was more like a slut, than a saint, but she didn't deserve to be murdered by the Kennedy clan. I have no respect for Marilyn, and even less for the Kennedy family. |
