If the senators had known Bush's intel was phony I'm sure they would not have voted to give him war powers.

Keep remembering, the war powers vote was not a "VOTE FOR WAR. Two different things. The war powers vote was a vote to send a message to Saddam that Bush had the option for using force. Before the vote Bush promised to invade only as a last resort and go throguh the UN. He lied.
