Iraq isn't sporadic corruption, it's massive governmental corruption. Where is the $8.8 BILLION missing from under the CPA? Where is it?

Where is the $1 BILLION missing from under this Iraqi government?

Security - clean government - basic services - employment - hope

These are the things people need. Instead, Iraq has chaos - massive corruption - sporadic services - depression level unemployment - misery

There already is a violent civil war in Iraq. There's even a political civil war over federalism (partition) and an economic civil war over oil.

What are the stories coming out of there:

1. reconstruction funds have dried up because they have been diverted to security

2. insurgents and jihadists are only one problem with the really big looming problem being...governmental corruption

3. some of Afghanistan's booming drug trade is making its way into Iraq

2 and a half years after toppling the government in what the Neocons thought would be an 'easy' war, this is the incredible mess that exists there. Now it seems that we're at war with Iran and Syria.

OMG.
