Thanks for the good wishes, Ray. I'm going to help my wife care for her father. He has Alzheimer's and has been living with us the past couple years. His needs have intensified (and we're getting older too).
I've got some long put off projects at home, and will do some consulting for my former company. We're on a pretty short leash, and can't travel now. I need to find some things I can do at home, which are interruptible. I've been working on some music (been playing guitar and bass since I was a teenager). I like to cook and bake. And I need to put in more work on capital markets, and biotechs in particular. Perhaps, with more time available, I'll even learn TA -:)
Fly fishing sounds good too. We have a 1.5 acre pond in the front yard. Only bluegill and bass, and some huge pet catfish we feed in the summer. Bass would be fun on a fly rod, though it's been thirty years since I've tried it.
Do you have similar semi-employment? Fish a little, trade some, consult now and then? |
