By all accounts what we've done in Iraq hasn't been effective. And we will never know what could have been accomplished by right minded moral actions, because we have never tried it. We're always focused on the oil, and that will be what brings this nation down if we continue on this course. Many people will be enriched in the process though, those that are involved in the oil business and the war machine.

How is it that we can prepare recruits for war in 16 weeks, yet after 2 and a half years, the number of combat ready Iraqis has actually decreased? Is this progress? What is going on here?
