DMA...how much of the 'big government' spending was done to keep the economy afloat .... Remember when Bush came to office, our economy had been seriously heading south, at least since March of 2000. As a recruiter, I knew it...Talked to entirely too many companies and their employees, and knew we were headed for trouble in a giant way. Sure enough, by September of that year, it was openly starting to show. Now, the charts do show what was happening.

To be fair, Bush has had many more items to shoulder than most of us really realize, starting from the moment he came into office. Terrible economy, China and the plane mess, and a few months after that --9-11. And that was just the first few months.
