Until now I think it was a matter if it wasn't broke don't try to fix it. I think the Ipod nano design was perfect when I saw it first shown. It was exactly what I expected when I first heard Apple would produce a flash based player. That is why when I saw the Shuffle I thought Apple was ripping off customers. Now it seems obvious the shuffle was a stop gap product until they could get the Ipod nano designed. When I went to the Apple store the day after nano's release, I went there to buy it, but once I saw it and held it I didn't like the headphone connection and how badly the display looked after only 2 days of use. All 10 of them on displayed looked roughed up. When Apple revises or updates the display I will buy one, until then I will continue to avoid buying first edition products no matter how cool they are and even if they are from Apple. I bet Apple will also have address the major smutching factor on the Black version of the nano.
