Elmo,
Thanks again for uncovering another interesting article. A couple
highlights:

...Novell hired Schmidt as CEO in April. He will earn a $600,000 salary, a $375,000 bonus provided he is still employed by the Company'' on Halloween, and options on 2.75 million shares.

Who quotes are these...John Young?

...Schmidt is banking on another force: inertia. The Gartner Group in Stamford, Conn., recently figured it would cost about $1 million to switch a 2,500-computer network from Novell to Microsoft.

Joe, here's your conversion cost vs. a free $800 migration kit

Another comments, John Young is quick to critizing Ray Noroda, but
what has he done for the company as of late?

Mike
