I can't believe Tabarrok posted that nonsense - ROFLOL. There is an ongoing debate on the effect of higher minimum wage laws - in the simple (narrow) view it lowers income and employment. But in the macro view it is far more complicated, and the answer is higher minimum wages would probably be better right now.
