OFF TOPIC--Thanks Daniel- The best threads for ADSL are WSTL, PAIR, AMTX and AWRE. Also use your search engine to go to TELECHOICE. They are probably the most knowlegable website on ADSL-xDSL. AMTX has the standard for DMT line code. Awre has it for DWMT. Lucent has it for CAP line code. WSTL in the leader in the number of contracts already signed. WSTL has both CAP modems and DMT modems. WSTL aslo has an excellent DSLAM product. The DSLAM product is a multiplexer. WSTL has contracts already signed with LUCENT, BELL ATLANTIC, DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE, ITALY'S TELECOMM CO. The CEO of WSTL announced at the last Conference that WSTL has three contracts signed and waiting for the contractees to announce. Thes contracts are maybe GTE, British Telecom, Canandian Bell--these are the most probable. There are several other possibilities. Pair has just revealed a new ADSL product that integrated HDSL and ADSL and makes it easy to go from HDSL to ADSL. I hope this helps. Emile
