I knew it was a movie, so I searched, "pinky movie" and got it. I see what's happening. Yes, I could find the movie. I wasn't looking for the movie. As I said, I remembered the movie. I was screening out the movie as well as "finger" because I was looking for something asserting that "pinky" was an insult word for blacks passing as white. That's what I can't find. The only bit I've seen is what Oral offered, which is spelled "pinkie" and which doesn't have any supporting detail. In your search of Pinky, the movie, did you find any explanation for my question about why the character would call herself Pinky, presumably a dead giveaway of her secret, rather than use her given name?
