Caulfield joins Novellus EE Times (10/25/2005 5:20 PM EDT) WASHINGTON — Novellus Systems Inc. said Tuesday (Oct. 25) it has appointed Tom Caulfield its new executive vice president of sales, marketing and customer satisfaction. Novellus (San Jose, Calif.) said Caulfield will oversee marketing and sales for the company's products and services, which include deposition, surface preparation and chemical mechnical planarization processes. Caulfield, 46, will report to Richard Hill, the company's CEO and board chairman. Caulfield is a 16-year veteran of IBM Corp., where he worked in semiconductor manufacturing at its East Fishkill, N.Y., facility. Prior to IBM, he worked for Philips Laboratory as a senior researcher.
