Nonsense of Ahmadinejad today..................

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad declared Wednesday that Israel is a "disgraceful blot" that should be "wiped off the map" — fiery words that Washington said underscores its concern over Iran's nuclear program.

Ahmadinejad's speech to thousands of students at a "World without Zionism" conference set a hard-line foreign policy course sharply at odds with that of his moderate predecessor, echoing the sentiments of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, the founder of Iran's Islamic revolution.

This what I highlighted...Oct 8, 2005

.............Iran's "effort to develop a nuclear weapons capability"? and its "support for terrorism abroad."? Iran is going to continue to develop efforts to have covert nuclear weapons for defensive purposes until Israel gives up its nuclear weapons, the only ones presently in the region. Perhaps one can argue Israel as a protext for nukes, when it comes to "force and detterance" Iranian mullahs think of Iran in more traditional terms and consider the invasions of Qadisiya as the real wounds of Iranian nation. With all their 'Arabisation' efforts the soul and spirit of Iran remains steadfastly tied to its 7000 year old proud history.

..........now under Ahmadinejad the jury is still out as to the conduct of new government vis a vis political opponents. But Iran is unlikely to give up its support for Palestinians fighting, it is continuous "Jihad" against infidels that revolution breeds on and finds its strengths. The theocratic republic & the constitutional republic of US do not have a significant conflict of interest except over the Jewish state and that is one of the main hurdles to their relations...........

Iranian revolution is one of the foremost supporter of extremism in Palestine.Mullah dichotomy is incredible, in its fears of Arabs they are very "Iranian" but in its religious doctrines the fights of Arabs against Israel are Iran's battles.

Why Iran will remain theocratic and Pakistan quasi-secular
