Great blog on softwood lumber issue. What puzzles me as a Canuck is with all the easy to get along with citizens of U.S.A. I have met in cottage country not one likes Bush or his policies. How did he get re elected? Most Canadians are realistic. We are a mouse living next to an Elephant. This bullying by the Bush administration will have long term negative consequences. When life deals you lemons make lemonade. No cattle allowed to cross border to be slaughtered.Canada's solution is to build more processing facilities.Sell steaks to Asia. Natural gas pipeline from Alaska will face huge environmental roadblocks courtesy of Canadian Federal Government. Wait till water becomes a huge issue in mid west U.S.A. No Canuck water will be diverted to U.S.A without a lot of ass kissing and major $$$$.
