On the surface it sounds like it makes sense. We all know that air tries to find the lowest pressure, as we've witnessed many times during storms. But, can this wind energy actually be channeled and used to generated electricity? I do not know?!?


I remember reading, not so long ago; about a proposal to
harness very reliable on-shore breezes in coastal areas
utilizing long horizontal pipes and internal turbines
to generate electricity .. similar idea on a smaller
scale and should be cheap to test for 'proof of concept'
