There is nothing in his oath of office equivalent to pledging to tell the truth in all communications with other government branches. If you can find explicit language - not an inference - please enlighten me. Otherwise every president ever elected would be bogged down by endless impeachment efforts. Unless you are testifying under oath, perjury does not arise. Whether being untruthful on important issues outside that rises to an impeachable offense is up to the House of Representatives to decide. Has anyone introduced a motion for impeachment in the House?
