There was an article in National Geographic a couple months back about prairie dogs (or some similar animal) that did something like this Cold Energy concept for ventilation. They created two entrances to their underground lair, with one higher than the other in a mound, perhaps 10-15 feet higher. The result was that due to that difference in pressure-minute as it is--there is a breeze that "air conditions" the underground tunnels.

Amazing.
