Of course Wilson can't talk about it, it's classified. If he were to tell some TV reporter his wife was a covert agent, he'd commit the same crime the Bushies did. Wilson could however, say that now that her cover is blown she is no longer covert. In fact, no one can say anything about what Plame did before she was outed. It's illegal. If you or I found out and leaked it we'd be breaking the law too. Anyway, the issue here is not Wilson. I know the Republicans are claiming he "lied", but frankly, I cannot find a single lie he ever told. Just RNC talking points, and desperate ones at that. Now we know Wilson's NY Times op ed was correct. There was no Saddam nuclear program at all. The documents Bush was refering to were forgeries and now there's a scandal in Italy that Bush's pal Berlusconi may have responsible for deseminating this phony intel. All this goes to the main point which Fitzgerald may keep on investigating, that CHENEY-BUSH and friends lied to the American people and congress to get us into a costly war which has actually made the country less safe.
