Re: Any truth to the rumor that Bush is going to appoint Michael Brown, aka Brownie, to the Supreme Court?

C Nelson Reilly has it on reliable background that two “nuclear” options are being considered concerning Bush’s Supreme Court renomination:

1. Super-Size Scalia: Double his salary and give him two votes. He’s earned it. The social conservatives want a justice in the mold of Scalia or Thomas. What better way to fulfill their yearning than to create a “Shadow Scalia” that will vote exactly like the real Scalia? Sounds like a no-brainer..

2. Nominate a Right-Wing Fetus: Give Clarence Thomas a bottle of Mateus, a $20 third-party check, and Ann Coulter’s phone number. Delay the nomination until the bastard love child is in the second trimester. A full-grown fetus could be on the court for 80 years. Talk about a legacy!

INDICTMENT UPDATE: C Nelson Reilly predicts the past by studying the future:
11.5 Indictments Signed, Sealed and Delivered: Many are called but few are chosen.

William Jefferson Clinton
Hillary Rodham Clinton
Birch Baye
John Sununu
Lloyd Bentsen
Sam Rayburn
Pat Buchanan
Osama
Rosa Parks
Joe Wilson
Janet Jackson
Elliot Abrams (1/2 of an indictment; not worth fucking with)

Fitzgerald has determined that these people are the cause of the problem and should be held responsible. Go Fitz!
