Here's the thing I don't get about high prices at the pump... Does it cost oil companies more to sell gas than it did a year ago? Do they pay the guys that drill the holes more? Did the machinery go up? Do the truckers get paid more? The gas station attendants? Did the land they drill on get more expensive?

No. So somebody is pocketing a helluva lot more money now than a year ago. The money is going somewhere. Apparently to Jeffrey's neighbors<g>.
