SAA's new contract:
LOUISVILLE, Ky.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 12, 1997--Strategia Corp. (ASE: SAA) announced today that Hartford Hospital, Hartford Conn., has selected Strategia to perform an end-to-end enterprise-wide Year 2000 engagement.
The project, valued at approximately $2,000,000, is subject to finalizing contract terms. Hartford Hospital is the largest hospital in Connecticut with over 800 beds. Hartford Hospital is owned by Connecticut Health Systems, which also operates two other hospitals.
The engagement will include a comprehensive analysis to assess the operational and financial risks of the Year 2000 problem on all of Hartford Hospital's mainframe, LAN, WAN, and desktop computing applications as well as imbedded chip technology for such building controls as security, elevators, and HVAC. Following that, Strategia will provide Year 2000 remediation for COBOL software written for the mainframe and C and C++ software written for the client servers. Finally, Strategia will provide compliance testing for the mainframe software.
