Plame was absolutely a covert operator. What are you talking about? Are you listening to those rightwing talkshows on the radio again? Shame on you. Don't you know they spread disinformation? Part of the RNC's cover-up of Plamegate was to spread lies about Wilson, one of them being his wife wasn't covert. Absolutely untrue. The CIA demanded this investigation because someone in the WH had outed a covert operator of theirs'. No other reason.
