I consider an egomaniac as one who has a personal ego without the ability to do anything worthwhile. Clinton has a lot of achievement both as President and outside. He certainly has remnants of juvenility in adulthood similar to someone who lies to his mom about stealing cookies from a cookie jar. Cheating is something that is more common in the US than lying. Many cheat and get away. As simple as that.
