Reports of the market death, as usual, are vastly overstated! From a pattern-matching perspective, its been an odd week. Monday set up a medium-term bull "call", the original pattern broke Wednesday and Thursday, only to have the replacement matches also be bullish patterns. It was odd enough I actually had to check the databases and algos to make sure I hadn't hit some whacked-out corner case. Seems a nice gap Monday would all but Amontillado members of the dark side for the rest of the year.
