Skype looks well-secured. More than good enough for my purposes. I suppose the National Security Agency can read and listen to everything though, despite the encryption.

Until governments are cut out of the loop, encryption is inadequate.

I know about the scary drugs, terrorists, hot money and other things, but terrorism and those other problems are trivial compared with the horrors of statist authoritarian control, as far as I am concerned.

The greatest good is private mind to mind communication and trade among free individuals. The main business of states is attacking the freedom of individuals and confiscation of their property. Protection from the state is the greatest good.
