I don't consider a frantic flagpole rally to be a sign of a healthy bull market at all. I am holding my bear spreads, and bought back to close the lower priced (117, written @ 1.35 to replace expiring Oct 118 at expiration last Friday) of my 120/117 SPY bear spread late today near 119.80 (@.60). I still have the write on my IWM 64/61 bear spread as the IV is pretty high. I sold long FXI Nov 63 (China) puts for a good profit yesterday, and also 40% of my XLY puts when it was 30.85, and then added a WLP Dec. 75/70 bear spread around the 74.25 (1.75 debit) level this morning.

<Can the "authorities" engineer another one?>

See no signs that the "authorities" or Wizards are helping the Humpties at all at this stage. Humpty and ledge sitters are on their own.
