They are the people who publish a series of puzzles on a monthly basis on the nytimes op-ed page That must be in the print edition? If it's in the internet edition, I must have missed it. My only problem with Will Shortz's editing is the number of clues, especially in the relatively more difficult Friday/Saturday ones, that are not reasonably part of most people's range of knowledge ("#1 hit of 1961, 1930's actress Farrell") but can be solved with one descent into google. I always feel I'm cheating when I do that. Our local paper (The Island Packet) started publishing Sudokus a few weeks ago. Intriguing, but I wonder how soon it will pall. I still have trouble with the "hards", but the mediums are getting easy.
