How about the boys from SI get together for a 3 day weekend conference, invite companies to give talks, and turn this thing around? We will call it the SI International Investor's conference. $200 a delegate should do it. Light on the booths, heavy on the major talks, slide shows. Let companies do HR suites and charge them light, 1000 a pop. Should pay. We could hold it at a major Toronto hotel. Inn on the Park, Days Inn, even the HO-JO. Would work with 1500 committed delegates, 100 companies. 3 days 24 talks in main hall. 24 smaller talks.

walk in public 25 dollars per day. Papers of talks distroed free to delegates. Discs 2.50 per for public. Probably get Moriarity, Dines, Kaiser et al. Invite Barnanke and Dodge to speak. Make sure brokers show.
