Here's an interesting article from back in March.

It mentioned that people were eating raw duck. Perhaps, eating uncooked or poorly cooked poultry transmitted the virus to family members. Maybe those who developed antibodies without the illness ate a very small amounts compared to the people who got very sick. Also, I'm guessing the kitchen hygene is not up to the standards that would be more normal here, e.g., cross contamination with raw foods to cooked foods.
