Most of Iraq's oil will go to Iran along with the Shiite region of the country. China purchases Iran's oil.

The oil in the Kurdish region, of what is now Iraq, will likely be available for sale to the U.S. at market price as the Kurds like the way George Bush Sr protected them from Saddam.

The Sunni region does not have any petroleum beyond what they have available in their gas tanks.
