Bush-Cheney were the ones who lied and misled us into war without adequate evidence, adequate troops, adequate allies, adequate planning and adequate reason for being there in the first place. Again, allowing for or voting for "war powers", "regime change" or "disarmament and forced complicance" were not anywhere near as extreme and reckless as what Bush-Cheney did because everyone outside the Bush camp assumed Bush-Cheney would be following the Gulf War Example and doing things competently. Bush-Cheney were basically so obsessed with invading ASAP to grab those oilfields and claim victory that they lost the war before it even started. Pisspoor planning makes all the difference. In fact Sun Tzu says all battles are won or lost before they happen. Gross incompetence and dereliction of cuty as commanders in chief. Once they had the oilfields and claimed victory, they had no further plan about what to do over there. None. In fact, right after the invasion Cheney said on TV that it would be all over in a matter of weeks. And Bush went on the aircraft carrier and declared "Mission Accomplished".
